      <image:title>Gilbert - Where did it come from?</image:title>
<image:caption>The Hudson river is known for its pollution, filled with PCBs that line the riverbed. Over the last decade, there have been dredging endeavors to remove the contaminants. But, what if while they dredged the river, they awoke a creature? A dinosaur, asleep or in stasis since the late Triassic period.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Bot Ross - “Build a robot that can paint a vertical wall”</image:title>
<image:caption>This was the project description for my ES3100 Controls class at WPI. Simple enough, right? It didn’t specify specific colors, area to paint, size of the robot, or anything else. In actuality, the robot didn’t even have to exist, as one team simply designed theirs in Solidworks. Looking at my team of 5 robotics engineers, I knew we could do more than that. I had always wanted to build a robot that could make art, and here was my chance. So I set us a couple of goals: 3 colors, variable paintings, and completely independent. This project is where Bot Ross was born. After 7 weeks of hard work, my team had created the first prototype, and I learned a lot of lessons along the way that would have a major influence over the direction of my design.</image:caption>
